Read an old review from the Archives

This book has a rather slow start, The real action doesn’t come in until the last third of the book or so. The characters are compelling as they struggle through a human world to keep you moving towards the big reveal.

Tons of people recommended this book to me, but I just wasn’t impressed. I tried reading it. Switched to audio. And finished it just out of the obligation to do so. I just wasn’t impressed.

    • Was the narration good on the audiobook? I read The Night Circus in 2013 and just listened to it recently. It was so fun to hear the book come alive.

I didn’t think so. I thought it was difficult to tell the difference between the characters.
