Two years ago this past week I posted my first review of the movie, About Time and Second Run Reviews was officially born. Over the course of two years I have posted 131 book reviews. I created my own features, In the Spotlight and Scenic Sundays. I’ve partnered with some pretty amazing bloggers to host the #ShelfLove Challenge. I started looking for ways to add variety to my content and share my project management skills.

2015 year in review

I’m excited for this next year. I’m slowly piecing together a new design and layout. I’m working to increase traffic and improve my conversations with others. It’s a fun challenge and one I’m enjoying. I can’t wait to roll out the new look and feel to the site. And if you have a keen eye, you’ve probably already noticed some minor changes.

So on this 2nd anniversary of my first official blog post, I reflect on where I’ve been and where I want to go. I hope you’ll continue on this journey with me.

Scenic Sundays was inspired by the last couple of minutes on CBS Sunday Morning and was created in part to help encourage me to share more of my photography.

Happy Blogiversary! I love this pic. The anticipation for candle extinguishing and cake eating is palpable.

    • I’m excited as well. With next week off expect to see the changes rolled out. Just trying to organize all the social media profile images this week. I’m sure I’ll miss something!

    • My nephew is a hoot. He’s all boy. 🙂

Next week I shall start rolling things out. I’m working on the header image with my sister and I’m plugging away at all the social media banners. My profile pic is updated in most spots. Slowly making progress.
