Each day I encounter new authors and new books. I want to take a minute to brag about Felix J. Palma, who I do not know personally (but wish I did). His novels fell into my lap thanks to a GoodReads giveaway. They combine all the things I love (time travel, historical fiction, science fiction and fantasy) with some amazing twists. His Trilogia Victoriana series just blows my mind! I was thrilled to be able to get book #3 while I was in Canada earlier this year. Yes, Mr. Palma is one source of breaking my #ShelfLove Challenge this year.

Palma’s books definitely make me a dreamer. They also make me a hunter. A hunter for more quality novels that challenge my perception of time and space. I’m appreciative of novelists like Mr. Palma.

Thank you to all the writers in my life for making me dream. My life is forever changed because of your words.

“Writers perform an extremely important role: they make others dream, those who are unable to dream for themselves. And everyone needs to dream. Could there be any more important job in life than that?” Felix J. Palma, Map of the Sky

    • For me it was really rare, Lynn! I actually gave up entering because it was so rare. Now I focus on giveaways on blogs. If I get an email from GoodReads saying there is a giveaway for a book on my TBR list, I will enter, but I don’t actively seek out the giveaway there because I rarely won!

  1. I sooo agree with you Terri! I am always sooooo grateful for author. Writing a book is so hard! and these dedicated hard working people make it possible for us readers! Glad you enjoyed the Trilogia Victoriana series.:)

  2. “…time travel, historical fiction, science fiction and fantasy..” That sounds like a series I need to check out. Lovely quote too!
Here’s to dreaming! Have a great week.
