I was not sure what I wanted to write about this week. So much has happened and at the same time, I’m at the same place I was a week ago. The holidays are right around the corner which seems unreal to me.
Our presents are wrapped and sitting “under” our very own “Charlie Brown” Christmas tree. That tree is so sad. I bought it at Dollar General after we moved into our condo because our cats kept insisting on climbing the full size one we had. The little tree does make me smile though so I continue to pull it out of box each year and pile the presents on the floor.
My favorite part of the holidays is finding the perfect gift for the special people in my life. Seeing their surprise when they open the gift and know that it is an expression of my love and friendship warms my heart. I hope that all of you have a chance to experience that this holiday season.

“It is a miracle if you can find true friends, and it is a miracle if you have enough food to eat, and it is a miracle if you get to spend your days and evenings doing whatever it is you like to do, and the holiday season – like all the other seasons – is a good time not only to tell stories of miracles, but to think about the miracles in your own life, and to be grateful for them, and that’s the end of this particular story.”
