I’m not feeling very inspired this week folks. This week at work was slow and Friday night I celebrated one of my best friend’s birthdays. I’m feeling it this morning. Not because I drank too much (I was the DD), but because I was up until after Midnight (I’m normally in bed by 9) and my body still insisted I wake up at 6:45 AM to write.

So I’m sitting here with a cup of coffee, diffusing peppermint oil and easily getting distracted. Ooo…I haven’t checked FB since I got home at Midnight last night. Ooo…I wonder if my Young Living order will arrive on Saturday or Monday. Saturday, cool. Ooo…my Amazon order got shipped and is arriving on Sunday. That’s weird, but cool. I haven’t checked my email in 30 seconds, I should check it again.

Long story short, this is not it not going to be an inspirational post. And I decided, that’s okay. I had a killer time last night. It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed that hard and long with friends. And for today, that’s all that matters. (That is unless you were with us last night. Then there might be other things that matter, too. *wink*)

Friendship ... is born at the moment when one man says to another What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . . C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

Scenic Sundays was inspired by the last couple of minutes on CBS Sunday Morning and was created in part to help encourage me to share more of my photography.
