In the Spotlight with Anushka Agrawal
Welcome to Second Run Reviews, Anushka! Thank you for being In the Spotlight. I appreciate you stopping by and answering a few questions. So let’s get things started.
Please tell us a bit about yourself.
I am 18 and am studying Bachelor of commerce Honours in Jain University, Bangalore. I have spent most of my life in Kolkata. Writing is my passion and reading is my bedtime friend. I believe that happiness comes from within and love resides even in darkness.
Please tell a bit about your journey to becoming a published author. What’s been the best things about it and the worst?
I write since a very young age and becoming an author was like a dream come true. The best things about it were that it helped me believe in myself, built my confidence and brought me close to the people who love me. It helped me express my emotions in a better way. The worst things were that I realised that people are not always who they tend to be.
Tell us a bit about your latest release. What inspired you to write it? Why should fans of Second Run Reviews consider reading it.
This book encompasses within itself a plethora of emotions which the characters undergo which gives a realistic and a pragmatic taste. The intense throes which the leads had to go through and the various uncoupling of events and the mingled tastes of love, detachments, heartbreaks, forgiveness, endurance and how they overcome all the obstacles by achieving a blithe ending at the terminus contributes to a unique and a suitable generis plot making the journey of ‘Miles to go for a happy beginning’ a worthwhile one and vindicates the book’s title.
My parents and my life inspired me to write the book.
What types of books do you enjoy reading the most? What three books to you find yourself recommending to your fans over and over?
What is your current obsession?
Writing is my current obsession.
Any last thoughts or wise words you want to pass along?
The one thing I would like to tell all my readers is that always follow your dreams, miracles do happen but first we need to believe it does. There is nothing in the world that cannot be achieved all we need is a little belief in ourselves.
Thank you for being In the Spotlight, Anushka. Good luck in all your future endeavours.
